The complaint of a farmer in Mancherial district of Telangana about a mistake in records over ownership of lands was resolved Wednesday following the intervention of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.
A farmer at a village in Nennel mandal had two 'khatas' (khata is like an account number), official sources said.
In the process of merging the two, one survey number was mistakenly mentioned in the name of others.
This led to the other person benefiting from government schemes also, they said.
The farmer, who faced the trouble due to the mistake, reportedly posted the matter on social media.
