: Cochin Shipyard Limited delivered today, the seventh of the series of 20 Fast Patrol Vessels being built for the Indian Coast Guard.
With this, the yard has created a record of delivering nine ships in nine months at a pace of an average of one vessel a month, a shipyard press release said.
The ships delivered consisted of seven Fast Patrol Vessels for the Indian Coast Guard and two Platform Supply Ships for International Owners.

Cochin Shipyard delivered the previous ship (ICGS Agrim) to the Indian Coast Guard on May 30 this year. The company has delivered the next ship within a span of one and a half months as compared to the contractual requirement of delivery every three months.
The Coast Guard has expressed satisfaction on the quality of ship delivered by Cochin Shipyard, the release added.
