Coimbatore eye surgeon chosen V-P of AIOS

Dr D Ramamurthy, Chairman of The Eye Foundation here, has been elected as the Vice-President of All India Ophthalmological Society (AIOS) for 2014-15.

He was elected at the 72nd Annual Conference of Society held recently in Agra, an AIOS release said today.

He is the second person from Tamil Nadu to hold the top post in the 72 year old histody of the society with nearly 18,000 members.
