Cold conditions continued in most parts of Punjab and Haryana.
Chandigarh recorded a low of 8.8 degrees Celsius, a MeT department official said.
Among other places in Haryana, Ambala, Bhiwani and Narnaul recorded their respective lows at 9.2, 10.1 and 8 degrees Celsius respectively.
Hisar and Karnal braved cold weather at 6.8 and 5.8 degrees Celsius respectively, up to four notches below normal.
In Punjab, Amritsar, Ludhiana and Patiala recorded their minimum temperatures at 6.6, 6.8 and 8.7 degrees Celsius respectively.
