Cold wave to prevail in some places in T'gana tomorrow: IMD

: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) today warned that cold wave conditions are very likely to prevail at isolated places in Adilabad and Khammam districts tomorrow.

K Nagaratna, a scientist at IMD-Hyderabad said that severe cold wave conditions prevailed at isolated places in the districts of Adilabad and Khammam yesterday as well.

"Cold wave conditions are very likely to prevail at isolated places in the districts of Adilabad and Khammam from this evening to tomorrow," he said.

The IMD website showed that yesterday Adilabad had recorded a minimum of 7 degree Celsius, Bhadrachalam and Medak recorded a minimum of 9.8 degree Celsius while Khammam's minimum was 10 degree Celsius and Hyderabad recorded a low of 12.4 degree Celsius.
 

Minimum temperatures are likely to be below normal by 2 to 3 degree Celsius at isolated places over Telangana, the IMD website informed.
