College student attacks classmate

A first-year student of an engineering college here suffered minor injuries today when his classmate attacked him with a knife, police said.

M Rabbani attacked Junaid, his classmate, outside the college following a quarrel over some remarks on a social networking site, inspector R Sanjay Kumar of Habbebnagar police station said.

A case of attempt to murder had been registered while search was on for Rabbani, the police officer added.
