The two-day Commanders' conference of the Eastern Air Command will be inaugurated here tomorrow by the Chief of Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal N A K Browne, tomorrow, official sources said today.
Browne will be accompanied by his wife who is the president of the Air Force Wives Welfare Association (AFWWA), sources said.
The Air Chief will also review the various issues and aspects pertaining to operational requirements in the North-East Region and developmental plans required to be taken up for discussions with the commanders of all the Air Force Stations in the region.
Mrs Browne will participate in various welfare functions, which are being organised by Air Force Wives Welfare Association (Regional) and she will also address the Board of Management Meeting of AFWWA (R) tomorrow.
