The Scheduled Caste (SC) department of the Congress party today designated its vice chairman Brijlal Khabri and former Gujarat MLA Sidharth Parmar as AICC observers and entrusted them the responsibility of mobilising all SC households in Madhya Pradesh into the Congress fold.
The president of Madhya Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) is requested to extend necessary cooperation and support to them to discharge their responsibility and this has the approval of the Congress president, Nitin Raut, chairman of the SC department of AICC, said.
He said they would be assisted by the SC department of the MP Congress Committee.
Madhya Pradesh goes to assembly poll later this year.
