Madhya Pradesh minister for cooperatives Vishwas Sarang today said that the elevation of Rahul Gandhi as Congress president won't do any good to the party.
The minister termed the party a "play school" in a press release.
"The Congress party - a university during (Jawaharlal) Nehruji and (Lal Bahadur) Shastriji's times- has been reduced to a play school in Rahul's time," Sarang said in the release.

He claimed that the condition of the Congress had gone from bad to worse and that people had lost faith in it.
"His elevation won't do any good to the Congress," Sarang's press release added.
