Haryana Congress today announced that it will launch state-wide 'padyatras' on May 29 to engage in a dialogue with farmers and highlight the "failure" of the BJP government in the state.

The yatras will be launched from Ambala, HPCC president Ashok Tanwar told reporters here.

This comes ahead of former Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda's mass awareness drive against the "ineffective and insensitive BJP government" from village Kandela in Jind district on May 31.

Tanwar said during the yatras, the State Congress will engage in a dialogue with farmers, labourers and other sections of the society and highlight the alleged failure of the BJP Government in the state.

Tanwar accused the Manohar Lal Khattar government of doing nothing for farmers, Dalits and guest teachers in the last six months.

On the Haryana government forming a commission to probe Robert Vadra's controversial land deals, Tanwar said, the BJP had earlier also raised the issue to derive political mileage out of it.

"Congress has no problem with the probe, but we believe that nothing will come out of it...This government is acting out of political vendetta," he alleged.
