Cop suspended for alleged sexual assault

A Sub Inspector of Delhi Police was suspended as he was found allegedly involved in a sexual assault case, police said today.

The suspension order came after it came to light that a case of rape was registered against the SI posted at a police station in east Delhi.

The SI was also on leave for many days without informing his seniors, police said.
