Copra drops on lower demand

Black pepper and ginger held steady in the absence of any major buying activity.

Copra office Alapuzha and copra office Kozhikode both slipped by Rs 50 per quintal each to Rs 4,450 and Rs 4,350 from Monday's closing level of Rs 4,500 and Rs 4,400.

Copra Rajapur Mumbai went down by Rs 100 per quintal to Rs 7,000 from Rs 7,100 and Copra edible Mumbai slid by Rs 50 per quintal to Rs 5,350 from Rs 5,400 previously.
