Coriander and jeera prices fell
by Rs 100 per quintal at the wholesale kirana market in the national capital on subdued demand from retailers and stockists amid adequate stocks.
Besides, weakening trend in futures market and increased arrivals from producing regions mainly pulled down coriander and jeera prices.
Corianer prices declined by Rs 100 to conclude at Rs 5,700-11,900 per quintal.
Jeera common and jeera best quality also drifted lower by Rs 100 each to conclude at Rs 18,600-19,600 and Rs 22,100-22,600 per quintal.
Marketmen said fall in demand from retailers and stockists amid adequate stocks, mainly pressurized the select spice prices.
