Cottonseed oil prices drifted by Rs 50 per quintal at the wholesale oils and oilseeds market today following absence of buying support due to low demand against adequate stocks position.
However, other edible and non-edible oils traded in a tight range in scattered deals and settled around previous levels.
Traders said absence of buying support against sufficient stocks position mainly led to the decline in cottonseed oil prices.
