Couple mowed down by Train

A man and his seven-months pregnant wife were today mowed down by a train at Daikhera village in the district, police said.

Jitendra Meena (24) and Reina (22), residents of Daikhera village, were hit by Duronto Express at around 11 am when they were returning home after working in their field nearby the railway track, Arvind Sharma, SHO Daikhera police station said.

The bodies were handed over to their families after the postmortem, he said, adding a case under section 174 was registered with the police.
