Secretary Mutharasan today said the proposed hydro carbon project in Pudukottai would affect the farming in Nevasal area.

Talking to reporters he said there was a plan for Methane project also which was dropped later.

He said he would mobilise the political parties in the state against the project.

The CPI MP D Raja would also raise the issue in the Parliament he said.
