The Pink City traffic police has procured a crash lab interceptor equipped with latest tools to find out exact reasons behind the road accidents.
The vehicle is fitted with three digital cameras of high resolution to take shots of the collision from a high view angle, said a release issued here today.
Laser-based device for speed measurement of vehicles from a distance of 150 meters, software for analysing accidents by feeding certain parameters from the accident scene, rooftop LED display and halogen high mask light are other features of the interceptor, it said.
The van which will be helpful in analysing accidents and finding out reasons of the collision, can also be used to rescue accident victims from mingled vehicles, the release said.
