CRPF jawan's wife commits suicide

A CRPF jawans wife today allegedly committed suicide by jumping off from their residential quarter in the adjoining Seraikela-Kharswan district, police said.

The incident happened in Sahebgunj locality, about 35 km from here, under the jurisdiction of Seraikela police station, the police said.

The 23-year-old woman jumped off from the 2nd floor, said sub-divisional police officer (SDPO) Seraikela, Avinash Kumar.

She was taken to a nearby hospital where doctors declared her dead, he said.

Kumar said the exact reason behind the incident is yet to be ascertained.

Investigation is on, he added.
