CRPF kills self using service rifle

A CRPF sub-inspector allegedly committed suicide by shooting himself with his service rifle in Rania camp in Khunti district today, police said.

Ashish Sharma (26), a resident of Haryana, shot himself with AK-47 assault rifle early this morning, said Anudeep Singh, DSP (Torpa).

In a suicide note, which was recovered from the spot, Sharma said that family problems has forced him to take the extreme step, the DSP said, adding that the body was sent to his native place after a post-mortem.
