Fresh positions built up by speculators following rising demand in the spot market, mainly influenced prices

Press Trust of India New Delhi
Crude palm oil prices were up 0.55% to Rs 431.70 per 10 kg in futures market today, mostly supported by rising demand at the spot market.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude palm oil for delivery in July moved up by Rs 2.40, or 0.55%, to Rs 431.70 per 10 kg in a business turnover of 49 lots.

Similarly, the oil for delivery in August edged up by 0.80 paise, or 0.18%, to Rs 432.50 per 10 kg in 25 lots.

Market analysts said fresh positions built up by speculators following rising demand in the spot market, mainly influenced crude palm oil prices at futures trade.
