Dalai Lama in hospital for check-up

Tibetan spiritual leader Dalai Lama Dalai Lama today visited Max hospital in Saket for a routiune check-up.

He came to the hospital at around 9 AM and left at 11 AM.

"He visited Max for a routine check-up. He comes for a check-up every year," said Dr Pradeep K Chowbey, Executive Vice-Chairman of Max Healthcare and Director of Max Institute of Minimal Access, Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery.

In 2008, a team of doctors led by Chowbey had removed hundreds of pebble-like stones from the gall bladder of Dalai Lama.
