: DMK Rajya Sabha MP Kanimozhi today said a decision on any electoral alliance for the May 16 assembly polls would be taken by party chief M Karunanidhi, her father.
"A decision on any electoral alliance, including that of DMDK, will be announced by the party chief M Karunanidhi," she told reporters here.
Stating that Party Treasurer M K Stalin's visit to all 234 constituencies through his 'Namukke Naame' campaign has given a boost to the party, Kanimozhi said party workers were enthusiastically campaigning in their constituencies.
On the selection process of candidates, she said the process was still on and once finalised, the list will be released by Karunanidhi and Stalin.
DMK's election manifesto was in its final stages and wouldbe released by Karunanidhi soon, she added.
Kanimozhi also requested the EC flying squad to take all steps to prevent money flow in the run up to the polls.
