Deep Ind shares soar nearly 15% on signing contract with ONGC

Shares of oil and gas firm Deep Industries surged nearly 15 per cent today after the company signed a contract worth Rs 278.19 crore with ONGC.

The stock rose sharply by 13.32 per cent to settle at Rs 87.60 on the BSE. During the day, it soared 18.24 per cent to Rs 91.40.

At the NSE, shares of the company rallied 14.77 per cent to Rs 88.55 at close.

Deep Industries yesterday informed BSE that the company has signed a contract with ONGC for hiring of gas dehydration system for 5 production installations at their Rajahmundry Assets for a period of 3 years.
 

The value of the said contract is Rs 278.19 crore, a company filing has said.

Meanwhile, in the broader market the BSE 30-share Sensex ended at 27,780.83, a gain of 135.68 points.
