Concerned over the "poor" condition of parks in the national capital, Delhi Chief Secretary K K Sharma today called a meeting with the officials of different departments and directed them to prepare a detailed report in this regard.
In the meeting, officials from PWD, DDA, municipal corporations, Land and Building department were also present.
"The Chief Secretary has directed all departments concerned to prepare a detailed report on the condition of parks across the national capital. Thereafter, a blueprint to develop the parts will be prepared on the basis of the report," a senior official said.

Meanwhile, Delhi government today announced a substantial hike in the security deposit for cutting trees, amounting to more than 100 per cent in case of commercial projects.
After re-fixation of the security amount and fixation of the compensation cost, the rate has been increased from Rs 28,000 to Rs 34,500 for each tree to be removed with a refundable component of Rs 15,000 for ensuring compensatory plantation in case of individual applicants.
