Cracking down on irregularity, Delhi government today directed to impose "major penalty" on two school principals, for not reporting to police, matter of admissions being taken allegedly on the basis of "forged marksheets".
The AAP government also took action against two of its officials, ordering to "terminate" a fire officer and penalise a Food and Supplies Officer (FSO).
In a series of tweets, Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia said that government has imposed "major penalty" on two of its principals.

"Matter pertaining to admission in class XI on basis of forged class X marksheet has come to light. Despite having information, the matter was not reported to police. Major penalty has been ordered for two principals in this regard," Sisodia, who is also the education minister, said in his tweets in Hindi.
The government has also "terminated" services of a fire officer, who was "caught" while taking bribe in 2013.
"A fire officer who was caught taking bribe has been removed from service today. Fire officer Rajan Wadhva was caught red-handed in February 2013 while taking bribe of Rs 1 lakh for fire clearance," he tweeted.
In another incident, penalty has been imposed on a Food and Supplies Officer (FSO) for giving a clean-chit to a dealer, who used to give ration on basis of fake ration cards.
"Enquiry against FSO Soran Singh for giving clean-chit to a dealer, who used to distribute ration on basis of fake ration cards. Fine has been imposed on him and transfer orders issued," Sisodia said in another tweet.
