Delhi Polls: PM asks 'young friends' to vote in record numbers

Polling is underway for the 70-member Delhi Assembly polls

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today asked voters in Delhi, especially the youth to go out and vote in record numbers.

"As Delhi votes today, urging voters to go out & vote in large numbers. I particularly call upon my young friends to vote in record numbers," he tweeted.

Polling is underway for the 70-member Delhi Assembly polls.

The voting began at 8 AM at over 12,000 polling stations.

A total of over 1.33 crore voters are eligible to exercise their franchise. A total of 673 candidates are in the fray in the contest.
