Develop Kolanupaka-Yadadri-Bhuvanagiri as tourism hub: Min

Union Minister Bandaru Dattatreya today urged Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao to develop the region of Kolanupaka-Yadadri-Bhuvanagiri as a tourism hub.

Noting that the region has a lot of historical significance as it was ruled by Rashtrakutas and Kakatiyas, Dattatreya said several structures, including Hindu and Jain temples, were built by them.

"I take this opportunity to request you to arrange for instructions to develop this region as a tourism hub in a comprehensive manner," the union minister said in a letter to Rao.

Dattatreya said he adopted Kolanupaka village two-years ago under PM Sansad Adarsh Gram Yojana.
