Six city councillors today sat on a dharna at the Nigam office demanding extension of Metro services in the town.
"Councillors want Metro in Ghaziabad, but city Mayor and BJP members are opposing it," Babu Singh Arya, one of the councillor said.
Mayor, Teluram Kamboj, however said "Nigam does not even have enough funds for developmental activities, how can it afford money for Metro.
