Disribution of saris, dhotis for Pongal begins
The Distribution of free dhotis and saris for poor people for the Pongal festival began today.
Tamil Nadu Minister K Sellur Raju distributed the sair sand dhotis to beneficiaries at a function at Paravai Town panchayat near here.
He said 175 lakh beneficaries would get free dhoti and saris under the schee before Pongal.
