DJB scheme to waive late payment on arrears

As per the scheme, the waiver on late payment fee will be granted if a consumer makes full and final payment of their outstanding bills.

The consumers will have the option to clear their dues in two instalments.

The scheme will take effect from Monday.

A DJB official said all zonal officers have been told to redress all bill related grievances on all working days from 3to 5 PM.

On every Saturday, the zonal officials will organise field camps to address bill related problems.
