DMDK-PWF constituent parties today said they have swapped four constituencies among them for the May 16 Tamil Nadu Assembly elections.
DMDK chief Vijayakanth said, in a release, the change has been made in concurrence with MDMK General Secretary and alliance Coordinator Vaiko and VCK chief Thol Thirumavalavan.
According to the understanding, MDMK will now contest in Mudugalathur instead of DMDK. Instead, DMDK will fight it out in Mannargudi replacing MDMK.
Similarly, Kallakurichi seat which had been allotted to DMDK will now go to Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi (VCK). DMDK will contest in Tindivanam in lieu of VCK.
