Docs, para medicos fined for not adhering dress code

During a surprise visit of the government hospitals at Sarwal and Gandhi Nagar area of the city, state Health minister Sham Lal Sharma found some of the doctors and para medicos not adhering to dress code to be adopted by them during duty hours, they said.

The minister slapped a fine of Rs 5000, Rs 2000 and Rs 1000 respectively to the defaulters, including some doctors and senior consultants.
