The nationwide indefinite strike called by health professionals in Nepal demanding medical reforms entered its fifth day today, even as doctors resumed OPD services at an open ground here.
In a relief to patients, who were compelled to go to India for treatment, doctors said they have started Out Patient Department (OPD) services at Tundikhel open ground. Hospitals and clinics remained closed for a fifth day.
The doctors are striking in order to press the authorities to address demands of leading orthopaedic surgeon Govinda K C, who is on the fast unto death since January 11.
