Directorate of Revenue Intelligence today submitted a complaint (Parivad) in court against eight people in connection with a major drug haul which was exposed by it last year in Udaipur.
The DRI filed the 'Parivad', running into over 4,400 pages, in the court against the eight accused, including Subhas Dudani, Ravi Dudani and Anil Malkani, who are under judicial custody.
The accused were also present in the court during the hearing of the case today, DRI sources said.

The next hearing in the case will be on May 26.
Cracking a drug syndicate, DRI had seized a huge quantity of a banned psychotropic substance, pegged worth over Rs 3,000 crore in international market, which was recovered in Udaipur during a search operation launched in October last year.
The DRI had claimed it is one of the biggest seizures of the substance, banned under Schedule 1 of NDPS rules, 1985, in the world.
