DRI seizes over 10 tonnes of redsanders from China bound

The Directorate of has foiled an attempt to smuggle over ten tonnes of redsanders by seizing two containers from a vessel bound for at the container terminal of the port here.

In a release, Additional Director General, Hyderabad zonal unit, M.K.Singh, said based on specific information that redsanders, prohibited for export, were being smuggled, officers of DRI, Visakhapatnam, offloaded the containers on March 14.
