Drive against illegal use of red beacon lights in UP

The Uttar Pradesh government today directed all District Magistrates to conduct a drive against illegal use of red and blue beacon lights atop the vehicles.

Directives in this regard had been issued by Transport Commissioner Rajnath Gupta, officials said.

The drive would be conducted in 16 districts on June 25-26, they said.
