Dry weather in UP, Allahabad sizzles at 43.6 deg C

Weather remained dry in most parts of Uttar Pradesh today with Allahabad being the hottest place in the state with a maximum temperature of 43.6 degrees Celsius.

Day temperatures were above normal limits in Gorakhpur, Varanasi, Faizabad and Allahabad, the MeT Department here said.

The weatherman has predicted mostly dry weather in eastern parts of the state, with rain and thunder showers very likely in isolated places.
