Dunlop Q2 loss widens to Rs 10.22 cr

Tyre maker Dunlop India today announced the widening of net loss to Rs 10.22 crore for the second quarter ended September 30.

The company had posted a net loss at Rs 83.88 lakh in the corresponding period of the previous year, Dunlop India said in a regulatory filing.

For the six-month period ending September 30, net loss widened to Rs 20.46 crore compared with a loss of Rs 1.66 crore a year ago.

The company said both its plants at Ambattur in Chennai and Sahaganj in West Bengal were non functional due to "suspension of operation".
