All Panchayats in Goa will be covered under an e-governance scheme in the next three months, allowing people to obtain Government services with ease, the Assembly was informed today.
"We are taking the e-governance scheme to all Panchayats in the next two-three months. All Government documents would be made available online so that the people don't have to travel to taluka headquarters or state capital for obtaining them," Panchayat Minister Rajendra Arlekar said.

The Minister said each Panchayat would be connected to Block Development Office (BDO) and then to Directorate of Panchayat in Panaji to facilitate hassle-free online issuing of documents.
Several MLAs, speaking on demands for grants, complained villagers face tough time while applying and getting papers from Government authorities. These documents should be made available at Panchayat level.
Arlekar said use of papers in Panchayats would also be reduced after introduction of the e-governance scheme.
