Groundnut oil prices gained further at the Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today due to rising demand from stockists and retailers.
Refined palmolein also edged up owing to good offtake from retailers.
In the non-edible section, castorseeds bold, castor oil commercial and linseed oil ruled stable in the absence of any large-scale buying activity.
In the edible segment, groundnut oil moved up by Rs 5 per 10kg to Rs 940 from Wednesday's level of Rs 935 and refined palmolein also inched up by Re 1 per 10kg to Rs 512.
Moving to the non-edible section, castorseeds bold, castoroil commercial and linseedoil all closed unchanged at Rs 3,125 per 100kg, Rs 655 and Rs 850 per 10kg respectively.
