Egypt today said foreign intelligence suggesting that the crash of a Russian passenger plane last week was caused by a bomb has not been provided to it.
Egypt's Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry also said that foreign countries did not pay attention to Egypt's calls for greater co-ordination to fight terrorism.
Shoukry comments came after several countries decided to block flights to the popular holiday resort of Sharm el-Sheikh following the plane crash which killed all 224 people on board.
A group affiliated to the Islamic State claimed responsibility for the crash last Saturday.
British Prime Minister David Cameron has since said UK intelligence services have gathered information suggesting an explosive device was used to blow up the plane midflight, and has therefore grounded all British planes bound for the region.
"The information we have heard about has not been shared with Egyptian security agencies in detail," Shoukry told a news conference.
"We were expecting that the technical information would be provided to us," the minister added.
