Eight killed as bus plunges into river; more feared dead

The mishap occurred at 11 AM this morning, they said, adding that the ill-fated bus belonged to the Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC).

Till now eight bodies have been fished out from the river but the police fear more casualties in the accident.

Buldhana district, located in north Maharashtra, is around 500 kms from Mumbai.
