Elderly woman stranded in hospital lift

An elderly woman and her attendant were today stranded in a hospital lift after it got jammed, police said.

"Two persons were standed in the hospital lift as it got jammed. Police and fire department team rescued them safely," said Sanjay Verma, SHO Knowledge Park police station.

"Due to power failure the lift got jammed for 10 minutes. Two persons were stranded. They were taken out after repair," said Ajit Kumar, PRO of the hospital.
