The biennial election to fill up two vacancies in the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Council will be held on March 16.
The vacancies arise due to retirement of two members --KVV Satyanarayana Raju (East-West Godavari Teachers' Constituency) and K S Lakshmana Rao (Krishna-Guntur Teachers' Constituency)--on March 29, a release issued by the office of the Chief Electoral Officer said here today.
According to the programme, notification would be issued on February 19 and election is scheduled for March 16.
