Elizabeth Hurley's son undergoes surgery

Actress-model Elizabeth Hurley has successfully undergone a surgery to remove his appendix.

The "Bedazzled" star's 11-year-old son Damian was rushed to hospital in Oxford, England after falling sick and he underwent an operation after he was diagnosed with appendicitis.

Hurley has now told fans Damian is making a good recovery, and she has praised medics for looking after him, reported Daily Mirror.

"Heartfelt thanks to the wonderful doctors and nurses at the John Radcliffe hospital for taking care of my son's emergency appendicitis... He's making a good recovery," Hurley posted on Twitter.
