Emma Thompson joins 'Beauty and the Beast'

Actress Emma Thompson and Kevin Kline have joined the live-action adaptation of "Beauty and the Beast".

Emma Watson plays the Belle in the movie, which is scheduled to make its way out on March 17, 2017.

Thompson will play Mrs Potts and Kline is expected to portray Beauty's father, Maurice. Dan Stevens will play the Prince/Beast, Luke Evans as villainous Gaston, and Josh Gad as his sidekick LeFou.

Bill Condon is directing the film.
