A function will be organised here tomorrow to commemorate the 59th Tibetan Uprising Day, a Tibetan official said.
The Dalai Lama will skip the event, to be organised at Tsuglagkhang, the main Tibetan temple here.
The chief guest at the function will be Kishan Kapoor, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affair Minister, Himachal Pradesh. The special guest will be George Baker, Member of Parliament, the official said.
Tibetan Uprising Day is observed on March 10 to commemorate the 1959 Tibetan uprising against the presence of the People's Republic of China in Tibet.
