Experts to check drone after Warsaw plane's near-collision

A Polish police spokesman says a man has been questioned and released and his drone held for examination after a Lufthansa plane nearly collided with a drone while approaching the Warsaw airport.
Maciej Blachlinski said today that the 39-year-old drone owner was questioned yesterday as a witness and has not faced any charges. Experts are going to examine his drone to check whether it was involved in Monday's near-collision. He said it was not clear when those tests would be performed. Interfering with air traffic carries a prison term of up to five years.
The near-collision occurred Monday afternoon when an object believed to be a done passed within 100 meters of the plane arriving from Munich.
