Explosion injures 13 in China

At least 13 people were injured today in an explosion in China's central Hunan Province.

The blast took place at Dayongqiao community of Yongding district in Zhangjiajie city.

One residential building collapsed, and four others were damaged, state run Xinhua news agency reported.

The injured people were rushed to a nearby hospital where the condition of three are said to be critical.

The cause of the explosion is under investigation, the report said.
