Explosion rocks Afghan parliament: TV

A huge explosion rocked the Afghan parliament in Kabul today, triggering chaos in the smoke- filled building as lawmakers ran for cover, live television footage showed.

"We have heard reports of an explosion. We are heading to the scene," Kabul police spokesman Ebadullah Karimi told AFP.
